By God’s Grace, in 2021, we founded Mogodu in the North and started a restaurant with a passion for sharing our authentic South African recipes with the world. We grew up enjoying traditional dishes and wanted to create a space where others could experience the same flavors and hospitality. With a focus on fast-casual dining and convenient takeaway options, the restaurant has become a go-to spot for anyone craving a taste of home.

Our Specialties

We serve classic meals like Mogodu, Inhloko, Hardbody Chicken, Chicken feet, Beans, Lamb, Goat, and other dishes.
Mala & Mogodu is a traditional South African dish made with slow-cooked cow offal and tastes great with starches like pap, phuthu, samp, and dumplings
South Africans love chicken feet, also called Maotwana, and they taste great with a mild spicy broth
